Hello!

 

My name is Inês Duarte and I am a designer from Lisbon, Portugal.

 

I am a freelance graphic designer, web designer and illustrator, also starting myself on UI Design

 

During nearly 5 years, I worked at Bloomsbury Publishing in London, designing children's books.

I was working mainly in the Non-Fiction and Educational areas and I had the pleasure to work in a lot
of very different projects, from history reference to music teaching books and picture non-fiction books, doing cover and insides design and commissioning as well as art directing illustrators.

 

After that I have decided to work as a freelancer. I now work mainly with portuguese and english  publishing houses remotely, doing layout and design as well as illustration. I also started to design websites for other kinds of companies and my goals for 2020 are to learn lots  more about UI design, as well
as continuing my work with these companies and look for more contacts and interesting new projects.

 

I also have a secret love for infographics and have a few projects done on that too.
